Spring will breaks in half about one out of ten time in forward gear failures. This is due to high RPM engagement from idle speeds that are to high, bad wire connection and or a micro switch in shifter controls not functioning proper.

Make sure new allen key is used per clutch spring coil. That's every 5 or 6 screws when removing forward springs.

Use allen wrench socket when installing spring, will need socket set wrench torque valve of 30-35 inch pounds.

Right side shows reverse gear hub with 40 bearing needles. Use wheel bearing grease to hold in position when reinstalling reverse gear bearing assembly.
